#  Alumnus joins Bay Area pharmaceutical start-up

 Kevin Mellem received his PhD in organic chemistry from Harvard University in 2013. After a postdoctoral research fellowship with Professor [Andrew G. Myers](https://faculty.chemistry.harvard.edu/myers), Kevin joined the start-up company Revolution Medicines as one of its first two chemists.
