#  Cohen, Xie to receive ACS National Awards next week

Brief biographies of both Professor Adam Cohen, winner of the [ACS Award in Pure Chemistry](http://cen.acs.org/articles/93/i1/ACS-Award-Pure-Chemistry.html), and Professor Xiaoliang Sunney Xie, winner of the [Peter Debye Award in Physical Chemistry](http://cen.acs.org/articles/93/i9/Peter-Debye-Award-Physical-Chemistry.html), appear in recent issues of C&E News. The award presentations and associated symposia for each will take place next week in Denver during the spring meeting of the American Chemical Society.
