Emily Balskus Named to the "Talented Twelve" by C&EN

Professor Emily Balskus is called “The Microbiome Code Breaker” in the July 6th, 2015 issue of Chemical & Engineering News. She is one of the magazine’s inaugural “Talented Twelve” young researchers chosen by an international panel, as one of 12 “path-paving young researchers” solving global problems by chemical means, and in particular is cited for her work identifying the enzyme that converts choline to trimethylamine.
