Emily Balskus is nominee for Mentor of the Year
Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering has chosen Professor Emily Balskus as a nominee for its annual Mentor of the Year Award. From a field of over 70 mentors, Emily was nominated by her mentees to receive this award for her dedication, openness, and leadership. Nominees were recognized at a reception in May. The flourishing Mentoring Program of HGWISE matches female faculty members, or Harvard alumnae working in the science and engineering fields in the Boston area, with female graduate students and both meet informally on a regular basis and during HGWISE hosted events throughout the year. Congratulations, Emily!
