 Congratulations to Assistant Professor [Emily Balskus](/microbialchemist.com), just named a winner of one of this year's [Packard Fellowships in Science and Engineering](http://www.packard.org/about-the-foundation/news/press-releases-and-statements/2013-packard-fellowships-in-science-and-engineering-awarded-to-sixteen-researchers/), given to promising faculty in the early stages of their careers.
