#  Xie group's SRS Imaging diagnoses brain tumors in real time

The [Xie group](http://bernstein.harvard.edu/pages/Research.html)'s recently developed imaging tool called SRS, or stimulated Raman scattering, has been used to distinguish brain tumor cells from their healthy counterparts in live animals and in humans, as reported September 4th in [Science Translational Medicine](http://stm.sciencemag.org/).
