All persons who wish to conduct research in the Dept. of CCB must attend a laboratory orientation session with the CCB safety officer. These 1-hour orientation sessions are scheduled at 2:00p.m. in 102 Converse Lab (conference room).
In addition, researchers must take General Laboratory Safety Training online. The online session will allow researchers to schedule additional research-specific training, either online or in class) that is required prior to commencing research. Available in-class and online trainings include: general laboratory safety training, hazardous waste management, laser safety, blood borne pathogens, biosafety, and radiation safety.
